WEST COLUMBIA, SC - A memorial service for Doris Wilson Hall. 93, of West Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 at Springdale Baptist Church, 357 Wattling Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170 . Pastors Tommy McGill and Chet Andrews will officiate the ceremony. The family will greet friends from noon until to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Hall died Thursday, March 10, 2022 in Lexington, SC.

Born in Columbia, SC on October 29, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John (W) Edward Wilson and the late Bessie McClure Wilson. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She retired from NCR in West Columbia, and was the co-owner and operator of Meeting Street Motors in West Columbia with her husband Sonny. She was a loving, Christian woman, who always put others first. She was considered the matriarch of our family, and has left a wonderful legacy for her time here on Earth.

She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Leon C. "Sonny" Hall of West Columbia; She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry H. Peele, and son, Larry C. Hall, as well as her brothers, Gene Wilson and Johnny Wilson.
