Don Harold Kramer, age 86, of Post Falls, Idaho, died peacefully on February 28, 2022. Don was born April 1, 1935 to Harold and Zylpha (Busse) Kramer in New Ulm, Minnesota. He was the oldest of four brothers and one sister, and grew up on the family farm near Gibbon, Minnesota. He was a graduate of DLMC High School in New Ulm and then continued his education at Mankato Commercial in Mankato, Minnesota.
Don moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho in 1956 and began working for the U.S. Forest Service. There he met Joyce McLaury and they were united in marriage on November 1, 1958. He continued to work for the U.S. Forest Service in Idaho and Montana, retiring April 1, 1990 after 33 years of service.
Don was a long-time member of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Coeur d'Alene.
Don is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents, Harold and Zylpha; and sisters-in-law, Sandy and Marcy. Don is survived by his children, Shawn Kramer, Randy (and Jenny) Kramer, and Coylene Kramer; grandsons, Austin and Kevin; brothers, Thomas, Robin (and Carol), Darcy (and Jeannie), Glen (and Mindy); a sister, Cassandra (and Dennis); and many nieces and nephews.
