Geraldine "Gerry" Winsky Harrington was the foundation of our family, so on March 9, 2022, when she passed, we knew we would have to cement it back together. As anyone who met her would tell you, she was, in a word, radiant. She was honest, reliable, and positive, similar to the sun. The stories and adventures of her life will be carried within the imparted her wisdom. During her long life on this Earth, Gerry traveled the world and shook it to its core. You could say she left life the way she lived it—exhausted, but peaceful. She leaves her physical mark on this world with her daughters, Kimberlie Harrington Perez and Tina Harrington, her son-in-law, Mark Perez, grandchildren Sam Perez (Farah Salameh), Brandon Perez, Steven Perez, Vesper Harrington (Rowan Harrington), James Roberts, Mandrake Derrick and countless loved ones she took in as family over the years.
Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, inSlidell, Louisiana, on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
