COOPERTON -- Funeral for Fleda Lee Jennings, 81, Cooperton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Hobart.
Mrs. Jennings died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in Hobart.
Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery, south of Mountain View, Kiowa County, under direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
She was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Lawton, Comanche County, OK, to Leroy and Fleda Smith Henderson. She graduated from Cooperton High School in 1944. She married Loren Lavoy Jennings on May 25, 1944, at Saddle Mountain. He died in 2005. She was a member of the Christian Church of Cooperton.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Anne (Gambaiana)Jennings, Mountain View; and Robert and Becky (Brillhart)Jennings, Hobart; six grandchildren: Maria Jimae Orlikoski, Aurora, Colo.; Jennifer Allison Hill, Tulsa; Rachel Anne Woodman, Owasso; Kim Rachelle Jennings, Lawton; Kristel Rene Madden, Hobart; Ryan Travis Jennings, Cooperton; three great-granddaughters; eight great-grandsons; a brother, William "Bill" Henderson, Lawton; and a sister, Nova Merle (Henderson)Cox, Purcell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
