Bobby Gene Christopher passed away Tuesday March 8, 2022.
He was born April 11,1939, in North Carolina to the late "Jack" Christopher and Ava Hulsey Christopher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Ralph, David, and Charlie Christopher.
He is survived by 3 children: son Robert (Angela), daughters Vivian (David), and Terry Lynn (Bryan). He has 6-grandchildren: Caroline, Christopher, Ryan, Eric, Shelby and Casey. 2-great grandchildren: Charlotte Rose and Grace. He has 2 sisters: Julia and Sandra.
Gene worked in the furniture industry as a trimmer for many years before retiring from CR Laine. He was a talented wood worker and created dulcimers and other works of art. He loved traveling throughout the US, camping, riding motorcycles, and playing his guitars, and bee keeping. Our Dad loved life, family, learning, and had many wonderful adventures in his lifetime.
A graveside memorial will be held on March 19, 2022 (Saturday) 11am at Fairview Cemetery in Hickory.
