Laura Christine Stevenson, 60, of Kokomo, passed away at 6:47 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home. She was born May 10, 1961, in Utah, to John J. and Betty Waldron. On July 27, 2016, she married David Lee Stevenson, in Marion, and he survives.

Laura graduated from Greencastle High School and attended DePauw University where she studied child psychology, art and music. She served in the United States Navy and following her military service, worked in civil service and as a paralegal. Laura enjoyed playing the piano and the clarinet and was a member of the VFW.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Sean Waldron, and three sisters, Cheryl Musgrave, Cathy Genato, and Patty Waldron.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will take place in Marion National Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team.
