Thomas Horace Porter "Tom" (Age 93) Called into the Kingdom March 5, 2022. Born September 15, 1928 to Horace and Opal Porter in Lawton, OK. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Eleanor (El) Porter; daughters Kimberly Beauchamp, Lisa Porter, Amy Zacaroli, son Mark Porter, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Tom was much loved by family and friends, and will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Memorial service will be held at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 6304 Lee Chapel Rd, Burke, VA, where Tom and El were long time members on March 27 at 3:00 pm. Interment with full military honors at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Tom's name to The Aleethia Foundation, an all volunteer non-profit helping wounded/injured/ill service members and their families while recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center – Bethesda.
