Doris Butts Hall, age 86, longtime resident of Shalimar, Florida, Florida, passed away on March 4, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Orange Park, Florida. Following high school, she met and married the love of her life, Robert Hall, who joined the Navy and subsequently the Air Force. Doris was the consummate military wife, raising their family and supporting Robert's military and civil service careers. They enjoyed travailing and meeting people along the way. They settled and were active in the Bob Hope Village community for the past 24 years.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hall; son, Russell "Rusty" Lance Hall; and parents, Harry and Hazel Butts. She is survived by her son, Robert "Bobby" Lee Hall, Jr.; three grandsons, nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Moyer; and sister-in-law, Sandra Galvan.
The family will receive friends at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, FL, 32547 on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 4-6 pm. A private interment service will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida.
