Nick age 67 of Bessemer, Alabama, passed away on March 8th, 2022 , surrounded by his close family. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Tammy Hope, devoted son, Christopher (Jennifer Chesser) Hope, beloved granddaughter, Haley Hope, and his four legged fur baby, Bama Grace. Nick was born in Bessemer, Alabama on February 16, 1955. He graduated from Jess Lanier High School in 1973, and went on to attend and graduate from Bessemer Technical College in 1977, with a degree in electronics and communications. He began working the same year for US Pipe and retired as a foreman in 2009 with almost 33 years of service. Nick owned and operated Rock Creek Gun Service for 30 years, and was the 1994 National Submachine Gun Champion, avid Amateur Radio Operator (WA4MJV), a member of Flint Hill Masonic Lodge, and an Alabama fan. He was a devoted family man, a conservative Christian, a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church, a true patriot, and just an all around man of character. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Chapel Service on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery 985 Glaze Drive, Bessemer, Alabama 35023.
