Connie Faye Scott age 64 passed peacefully at home from complications of a terminal nerve and muscle disorder on March 7, 2022. Connie was born on October 6, 1957, in Leeds, Alabama to Mr. Milton Leo Isbell and Lola Faye Adaway. Connie married David C. Scott on May 1, 2010. Connie was a devoted Christian woman with a heart of gold and loved her family and friends with every ounce of her being. Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who would go to the ends of the earth for any of her family and friends. Connie was baptized in Donovan, Alabama. Connie loved hunting, fishing, riding in the truck, or doing everything with the love of her life, her husband, David C. Scott and just being with him. Connie also loved cooking and sewing, singing in church, and playing the piano. She also loved her chickens, goats, and dogs. Connie never met a stranger and everyone whoever met her loved her.
Connie is survived by her husband, David C. Scott of Bronte, Texas; brother, Tony Isbell and wife Tracy of Trussville, Alabama; sister-in-law, Lynn Evans of San Antonio, Texas; 5 children, Shannon Robinson of Bronte, Texas; Daesha and Danny Ivy of Kermit, Texas; David and Brandi Scott of Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Kayla Robinson of West Virginia, Daniel Ivy Jr. of Kermit, Texas; Hannah, Bethany, Kayli Scott of Dayton, Ohio and Megan and Ozzie Lopez of Florida; and one great grandson, Liam. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles and of course a ton of friends. Connie is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Amber Robinson. The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice of San Angelo and Torri Wallace, her caregiver, for all the love and care.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Bronte, Texas. Russ Frazier and George Cooper will be officiating.
