Author. A leading representative of Realism in Spanish Literature of the late 1800s. Born in Valencia, Querol contributed to the rise of cultural movement known as "Renaixença" and founded the literary society "La Estrella" along with Teodoro Llorente. His best known works are "Rimas" and "Poesías Desconocidas."
