Barbara Nadine Spencer (Collins)
Age 90, born in Flint, MI on August 30, 1931 to Otelia (Bartz) and James G. Collins. She entered eternal life March 7, 2022. She was a resident of Au Gres, MI, formerly Saginaw, Mt. Morris and Burton, MI. She was employed by GMASA retiring in January of 1998. Barbara was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. She had many leadership roles in Michigan Twins Association. Her hobbies included reading, cats, and travel, especially with her twin sister. Barb was very social, she loved a party and loved to get dressed up. She enjoyed walking the beach, either in Au Gres or in Florida. Barb loved the adventure of a trip, whether a bus trip with a group or a plane to far away lands. She loved to sing and was active with the St. Johns choir. Barb also got a kick out of Karaoke. In her younger days, she was active with the ladies aid guild from St. Paul's in Flint. She volunteered her time with Stephens Ministry as well as Genesee County Sherriff Department as an E.M.T. Barb enjoyed watching Michigan teams on TV and cheering on the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed attending as many of her great grandsons sports as possible. She is survived by her children, David (Kaye) Spencer, Suzanne (Mike) Martin and Linda Tegart; grandchildren, Autumn, David (Patty), Nathan, Sean and Kristen (Christian); great grandchildren, Kayden, Gavin, Vance, Devon, Cashton, Gabriel and Gunner. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy (Donald) Orr and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
