Mary Rodgers Woods, 84 of Southlake, Texas, formerly of Camden, Arkansas passed away March 8, 2022 at Baylor Med - All Saints Hospice in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was born on October 30, 1937 in Warren, Arkansas to Alfred Glenn and Edna Howell Rodgers. She was a 1955 graduate of Warren High School and a 1996 retiree of Ouachita Electric Cooperative Corporation in Camden, Arkansas.
Mary married Preston L. Woods on July 3, 1962 and was a member of Cullendale Assembly of God Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, her parents and a sister Nena Rodgers Wright (Lamar). She is survived by her son Glenn David Woods (Leann) of Southlake, Texas, her grandchildren - Madison Woods of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Marley Woods of Nashville, Tennessee and Murphy Woods of Southlake, Texas, a sister Doris E. Rodgers of El Dorado, Arkansas and her nephews Roger L. Wright (Jo) of Batesville, Arkansas and Douglas G. Wright (Jodie) of Madison, Mississippi.
A graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:00PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas with Rev. Douglas G. Wright officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cullendale Assembly of God Church in Camden, Arkansas.
