York R. Lackey, aged 36, 2807 Oliver Street, died of acute appendicitis on October 9 at Elko, Nev., while on a visit in the West. Burial was made at Sault Lake City. Mr. Lackey was a veteran of the World War. He was a member of F. & A. M. Lodge, No. 170. Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lackey; a brother, George, and two sisters, Mrs. Alex Kincade and Mrs. Florence Pion, all of Fort Wayne.

Lackey, York R. - Burial will be made Thursday morning in Lindenwood Cemetery. The body arrived here Tuesday from Elkton, Nev., and was taken to Klaehn & Sons' Funeral Parlors. Mr. Lackey, who was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lackey, 2807 Oliver Street, died October 9 in Elkton, Nev.
