April 1, 1935 - March 6, 2022
Mrs. Louise Mayfield Garrett was born April 1, 1935 in Orrville, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama. In 1954, she graduated from R.B. Hudson High School then moved to Pensacola, Florida. In 1956, she was joined in holy matrimony to the late James L. Garrett. From their union, three children were born—Joyce, Gregory, and Sherry. For over 30 years, Louise was employed at West Florida Medical Center Clinic. She was a faithful member of the Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Missions Ministry and Senior Choir. She was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She was a giving and caring servant of God who did not hesitate to show love and support to others.
