He was wisdom to those boys and girls that rode the school bus while being employed at the Alachua County School Board for 30 years.
He was a faithful Deacon at Faith Missionary Baptist Church and an asset for the Kingdom of God.
He was a friend that always showed himself welcoming to anyone that had the honor of being in his presence.
The Biggest title for George was that of "Family Man!" The bigger his family became, the bigger his heart filled with love. What a blessed man he was!!! He loved his family so very much and his absence will be felt by everyone.
George was preceded in death by Grandfather; Robert Grant, Grandmother; Rosa Lee Grant. Three sisters: Geneva Grant, Alfredie Grant, Lorenza Grant. Two daughters: Carrie B. Grant-Cutler, Vanessa Grant. His first wife Carrie Lee Grant.
