Vicky Paulette Cotton Clark, 72, of Vidor died Monday, March 7, 2022 at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Vidor, and retired from Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital after working as a registered nurse.

She took great interest in golf, and she enjoyed watching her family play any sports, perform recitals, or participate in various events. She was a dedicated woman who would always be there for her family, no matter what. She was very giving and generous. She was even like a second mother to her great nieces and nephews and was really big on thoughtful gifts. Being there and always being on your side was paramount for her. She had great compassion especially through her work as a nurse director. Her sister, Linda Brasher was her best friend, they were inseparable and did everything together.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Visitation will begin 12 noon, Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will begin 2pm, Thursday, March, 10, 2022 also at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.

Vicky is survived by her sister Linda Brasher of Vidor, her niece Kelly and husband John Carder of Vidor, her nephew Casey and wife Danielle Brasher of Mont Belvieu, Texas nd her nephew Clint and Wendy Brasher of Vidor. She is also survived by a number of "great" and "great great" nieces and nephews including Lyndsey Cox and her husband Cash with their children Ethan and Nathan Cox, Chelsie Courville Avondet and her children Ella Grace Avondet and Charles Avondet III, Summer Courville Rees and her husband Cody with their children Lily, Ally, and Grey Rees, Dr. Saber Brasher, Madison Brasher Flickinger and her husband Taylor, Emma Brasher, Derek Brasher II, Adam Brasher, Zach Brasher and the children of Casey and Danielle Brasher, Violet and Cohen Brasher.

She was preceded in death by her parents William "Bill" Cotton and Doris Cotton.
