Faye Schroeder, 80, of Otisco, IN, passed away at her daughter, Leslie's home, with her family by her side, on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 3:12 PM.
Faye was born on Wednesday, October 29, 1941 in Cannelton, IN to Frank Bolin and Malinda (Jarboe) Bolin.
Faye was a 1961 Cannelton High School graduate. She was a former employee of Guthrie's Building Supply, West Clark Community Schools as a bus driver, and at Walmart in Scottsburg, IN.
Faye was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Memphis, IN. She enjoyed playing Euchre, Canasta, Hand & Foot, and Bunco in her younger years. She loved cooking, tending to her flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.
On November 7, 1964 in Cannelton, IN, Faye married the love of her life, William "Guy" Schroeder. They spent 52 ½ years together before Guy passed away on May 14, 2017.
Faye is survived by her 4 children, Leslie (Dewitt) Barefoot of Henryville, IN, Bill Schroeder of Otisco, IN, Kristi (Matt) White of Underwood, IN, and Eric (Kim) Schroeder of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, 15grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Richard Bolin of CO and Paul (Jane) Bolin of CA, a special niece and her husband who provided loving care for her, Stacey (Ronnie) Franks, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Malinda Bolin, husband, Guy Schroeder, 3 sisters Geneva Burst, Evelyn Hammack, and Ruby Hess, 3 brothers, Earl, Russ, and Frank Bolin, 2 children, twins, Malinda Dawn & Sarah Danielle Schroeder, 3 grandchildren, Kevin Mondoux, Sarah Spence, and Lindy Spence.
Pastor Toby Jenkins will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
