Helen G. Cook, 92, of Bethlehem, died Monday, March 7, 2022 in her home. She was the widow of Dr. Edward B. Cook. Born in Philadelphia, Helen was the daughter of the late Louis and Sara (Kurshan) Green.

She graduated from South Philadelphia High School and continued her education at the Philadelphia College of Business. After graduation, Helen worked as a bookkeeper for Jack Kaplan in Philadelphia. Jack introduced Helen to his brother-in-law, Edward who became her future husband. While Edward built his practice, Helen stayed at home to care for their children. In the early 1970's, she and a friend opened a dress shop known as Cozelle, which she co-owned and operated for several years. Helen was a member of Congregation Brith Sholom, Bethlehem where she was active and on the board of Hadassah, B'nai B'rith Women and the Sisterhood. She loved to cook, entertain and travel. She was a devoted wife and mother and knew the importance of spending time with friends and family.

Survivors: Children, Janice wife of Jonathan Simon of Wyomissing, Dr. Karen G. Cook of Hanover Township, Linda S. Cook of Delray Beach, FL, Gary A. and his wife Danielle Cook of Allentown.

Service: 1:30PM Today at Congregation Brith Shalom, 1190 W. Macada Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Arrangements by Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
