Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lee Edwards will be on January 22, 2022 at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Elder Tom Griffin will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church on January 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue on January 22 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M.
Mrs. Betty Lee Edwards, 87, of Meadville, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at her residence. She was born on July 15, 1934 in Franklin County, MS to Claude and Lena Causey.
She enjoyed family, friends, flowers. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. She was also a faithful member of her church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Edwards; one sister, Doris Halford; and one brother, Marvin (Sonny) Causey.
Survivors are her sons, Jimmy Dale Edwards and wife, Wanda Gail, of Meadville, Larry Wayne Edwards and wife, Missy, of Meadville; Chuck and Wanda Sue Parker of Natchez; sister-in-law, Mary Trimm of Jackson; four nephews; one niece; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
