Mrs. Henry attended Mullin schools. Juanita met her husband in Mullin, TX in school and was married at 20 yrs of age on May 26th, 1946 in Mullin, TX. They moved to Penwell, TX a town just west of Odessa, TX. They had a son named Kenneth Henry. In 1968, her husband was hired as a Police officer in Farmer's Branch, TX which led them to Denton, TX. Juanita worked at Sears and Roebuck Company in the card catalog department as a customer service representative for over 22 years retired and then years later went to work for Texas Woman's University in her 80's. She worked in the Student Union Department at the Information Booth for eight years under Kyle Voyles and then retired again. She greatly enjoyed working with the students and the staff at TWU. She was an avid member of the Denton Community and touched the hearts of many different people. Mrs. Henry was an active member of First Baptist Church where she attended Sunday school and frequently attended Denton organizations including ABWA (American Business Women's Association), Red Hat Ladies, Widows of America and Denton Friendship Club. Throughout the years, Juanita enjoyed traveling all over the world, camping, boating, dancing and going to the Cracker Barrel with her family. She always had a smile that would light up the room and was truly a fire cracker.

Juanita was simply one of the best grandmothers around! She recently was able to see her oldest great granddaughter Private First Class Christina Henry graduate college, January 2022 at Media Tech Institute and her second oldest great grandson, Devin Robillard graduate college August 2020 with their Associate's Degrees. She said never give up and keep going! Therefore she knew that her great-grandson Devin was obtaining his Bachelor's Degree at UNT May 2022, Brook Austin attending as a Freshman in College at NCTC Fall 2022 and her great-grandson attending Culinary school Fall 2022. She was extremely proud of their accomplishments.

She showered love on all of her grandchildren in any way she could. Her eyes lit up when they entered the room. She would often say to her grandchildren, "I love you with a bushel and a peck and hug around the neck!" Juanita cherished her brothers and sister throughout her life and never missed attending an Ethridge Family reunion since she was in her 20's. She looked forward to lunches with all of her friends up until the last few weeks of her life. Juanita always made sure that everyone knew how deeply she loved them. Her love for the lord always came first and now has traveled home peacefully to heaven.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 PM, graveside at Oak View Cemetery in Mullin, TX.
