James Leo Richardson, age 87, of Alpine, KY went to be with the Lord March 6, 2022.
He was born in Acorn, KY to the late James and Zona (Farris) Richardson. Leo was one of five children.

He is survived by a brother Ronald (Bonnie) Richardson of Johnson City, Illinois.
Leo had four sons of his own and five adopted sons. he is survived by his sons; Joseph E. Richardson of Cincinnati, Ohio, James Christopher of Florida, and James Leo, and three adopted sons; Brian, Gary and Dale.

He was Preceded in death by his father; James Harvey Richardson, his mother; Zona Farris Richardson, a son; James Gregory Richardson, two adopted sons; Troy and Eric, two brothers, Albert W. Richardson of Herrin, Illinois and Edward (Vicki) Richardson of Winter Haven, Florida, a sister; Christine Evans of Lexington, Kentucky and a step sister; Vedla Rieman of Aurora, Illinois.

Leo also had a adopted family in Kevin and Lisa McKee of Alpine, Ky. as well as several grand kids and great grand kids. He loved spending time with family and friends and he loved to go fishing but MOST of all he loved the Lord. He was a member of Neeley's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Alpine, KY. He will be greatly missed by all.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Neeley's Creek Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. with Bro. Buddy Barnett and Bro. Scotty Nix officiating.

Burial will be in Neeley's Creek Cemetery.
