Angela D. "Angie" Leach, 48, passed away unexpectedly at her home, on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Angela was born on May 31, 1973, in Marion, Indiana, to Lewis B. Leach and Lorrayna K. (Stephenson) Royse. Angie graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1991. She attended IUK Indiana University Kokomo where she earned her LPN degree. Angie was an MDS Coordinator at Twin City Healthcare for 23 years. She took pride in and loved her nursing career. Angie was a caretaker, she was always putting the needs of others before her own. Angie was the most caring person and would do anything to help anyone in need.

Angie was known as "GiGi" to many who loved her. She loved spending time with her boys, her nieces, Trista and Trinity, and her family. Angie looked forward to the annual Christmas shopping trips and shenanigans that she and her mother did every year. She enjoyed singing. Angie loved photography, over the last few years she began getting more creative and sharing more of her work with friends and family. She was the glue that held her family together and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her mother, Lorrayna (Robert "Bob") Royse, Fairmount; her sons, Kiley Leach, Fairmount; Kaleb Leach, Atlanta, IN; and Hunter Ricketts, Fairmount; her brothers, Robert (Amy) Leach, Alexandria; Shawn Leach, Marion; and Lee (Nakita Purvis) Royse, Gas City; nieces and nephews, Camryn, Angel, Ryan, Ramy, Ayden, Trista, and Trinity.

Angela was preceded in death by her father, Lewis B. Leach; her paternal grandparents, Lewis and Doloris Leach; her maternal grandparents, Chester and Evelyn Stephenson; and her best friend, Carol Jo.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana.
