Reginald L. Rose, Sr. 63, of Lovingston, VA departed this life on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born May 5, 1958 to Virginia Rose of Wingina and the late Alpheus M. Rose.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Debra Peterson Rose; children, Reginald Rose Jr., Rosettalee Rose, Rona Rose and Raven Rose (Jasmine Harris); Seven grandchildren, DeVante, Kaua, Adriana, DaVeon, Zyion, Kaila, and Kalina; sister, Hattie and brother, Alpheus Timothy, both of Wingina; Uncles, Tim R. Booker (Rethel) and William Henry (Estelle); Aunts, Ella Mae Rose and Nena Ross (John) and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Reggie joined St. John Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Nelson County High School and entered the US Army on August 5, 1976. He served his country until 1984. He recently retired from the University of Virginia Hospital after over 30 years of dedicated service.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Cemetery, Wingina, VA., viewing 10:00 a.m. Service 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may sign his virtual guestbook at www.WellsSheffield.com.
