Mrs. Letitia West McGlothlan, widow of the late Martin McGlothlan died Sunday, April 2, 1905 at her home in Irvington, Kentucky of cancer. Mrs. McGlothlan was born near Walnut Grove Church on May 1, 1821. She was one of the first settlers in Irvington and resided in this county all her life.
She was the daughter of Samuel Adkisson and a sister of Judge Thomas Adkisson and Abner Adkisson.
In 1842 she married Martin McGlothlan. Of ten children born to this union the following survive, Mrs. Jennie Claycomb, Mrs. Wilda Herndon, Mr. T. N. McGlothlan, Mr. R. B. McGlothlan and Miss L. B. McGlothlan.
