Pat was raised in Cleveland, North Dakota and graduated from Cleveland High School before attending Valley City College and Dickinson College. She was a skilled bowler and earned a spot in the N.D. Hall of Fame in 2005. She was a Elementary School Teacher, a professional seamstress, and loved crafts. She retired from the fabric department of Walmart, where she enjoyed consulting, teaching and helping assist customers with projects.
Pat and her late husband, Jim never met a stranger. Jim was a joker with a big personality, the kindest heart and was always entertaining. Together they attracted friends with their easy laughter and sincere hearts. They loved to travel with Karen and Wil, Pat's sister and brother-in-law, and their adventures took the all over the globe. Pat loved sharing pictures and stories with the grandkids.
Pat's most cherished moments were spent with her children and grandchildren. They would spend holidays together playing cards, baking and making her highly requested Pedaheh (Perogies).
She is survived by her sister, Karen Olson and her husband, Wil; sons, Stuart and his wife Caroline, Wade, Shawn and his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Alicia Kordonowy; stepsons, James and Eric; grandchildren, Rachel, Brittany, Katrina, Kailyn, Reed, Lauren, Kade, Kye, Kale and Jaden; aunt, Shirley Linstaedt; nephew, Trevor (Gloria) Olson and niece, Ronda (Mark) Kirby and their children
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Marcy Mynatt officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10-11am in the chapel. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
