Clarence G. Jones Sr. passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the age of 66. Clarence is survived by his daughter Ashantay M. Jones Moore, son Clarence G. Jones Jr., 3 grandchildren: Aijalon E. Jones, Jaimee J. Moore and Chrishanti Booker; great granddaughter Lyric J. Jones, 3 siblings: Nelree Richards (Melvin), James Jones (Betty) and Tyrone Jones (Tan). He also leaves behind a devoted friend Vernia Barras and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents William and Elizabeth S. Jones, brother William Jones, Jr., and sister Verdell Jones. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, February 25, 2022 for 1:30 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Rev. James Willis, officiating. Interment is private. Due to COVID-19, all attendees are REQUIRED to wear face masks.
