Petty of Slidell, LA, Anthony J. Petty (Barbara) of Houston, TX, Sharon Dixon Gentry of Nashville, TN and David M. Dixon; sisters: Dora Gardner, Sarah Bibbins, Bettie Harrell; brother-in-law Landris Dixon, grandchildren: Lamar Petty, Jared Petty, Mia Petty, Demetri Petty, Myia Petty, Taylor Gentry and Ryan Gentry; and a host of family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, February 25, 2022 for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Moses Gordon III, officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
