He retired as a Supervisor for General Motors. After retiring he also worked at Random House and Airpark Animal Hospital as a dog walker. He was a veteran of the Army where he was stationed in Germany and member of the American Legion Carroll Post No. 31. He enjoyed model Pontiac cars, flea markets and auctions, was a coin collector and loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. John's (Leister's) Church Cemetery with military honors.
