Thomas Merlin Walker passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family members on Wednesday, January 17, 2022, at the age of 40. Thomas Merlin Walker was born on Sunday, March 1, 1981 to Cynthia Walker Shezbie and the late Thomas Merlin Scott. He accepted Christ at an early age. As a little boy growing up in New Orleans, LA he spent many summers with his cousins creating a lifetime of memories. Thomas grew up playing football, doing back flips, fishing, cooking, dressing and having a blast of fun with his family. He loved his family dearly. Walking into adulthood, he met and marries the love of his life, Natasha Cousizan-Walker. Before becoming ill, Thomas worked as a cook at Trinity Neurologic Rehabilitation Center.
Thomas leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories with his wife, Natasha Cousizan-Walker; his sons, Alvin Tircuit and A'marion Tyson; his mother, Cynthia Walker Shezbie (Ferdinand); sisters, Angela Walker, Nickeya Nicole Walker, Tikita Walker Williams (Ken Williams, Jr.); devoted friend, Ronday Dixon, Sr.; 10 nephews and 1 niece, that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Merlin Scott; his aunt, Susie Marie Scott; his grandparents, Joseph Scott, Sr. (Yvonne Scott) and Frank Wats (Rita Waits). He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
