Linda was born in New Castle on February 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Nicholas A. and Mary E. (Ciao) Padula. She was a graduate of the New Castle High School and went onto attend Slippery Rock (College) University where she was awarded her Bachelor of Science in Education. Following her graduation from Slippery Rock College she was employed as an elementary education teacher at Commodore Perry where she met her husband Donald L. Connell who she married on August 20, 1966.
Linda is survived by her husband, a daughter, a son, a brother, and 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
