Garrett Albertson was the son of Nicholas and Angelshe (Van de Water) Albertson. He was born Long Island. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Reynolds) Albertson. They were married in 1761. Elizabeth died February 11, 1814. Garrett was a Major in the Revolutionary War. He also served in the French and Indian War.
