Mr. Stanley Auburn Jones, 82, of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Kenansville Health and Rehab.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 3 at Roseboro Church of God with Rev. Gil Litada, Rev. Eddie Smith and Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton with military honors. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM on Thursday at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Jones was born on January 14, 1940 in Cumberland County to Leslie and Vara Lewis Jones. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Jones of the home; two daughters, Sandra Lemons of Sanford and Mable Jones of Warsaw; son, Daniel Jones and wife, Melody of Roseboro; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
