She was an incredible Mom to four children, a devoted wife to William Kearney "Si" Johnson, for 64 years, and a grandmother to 12 and great-grandmother to 15. In her final years, she was also blessed to be in a committed relationship with her loving companion, Clyde Day.
A life-long "Ludlow girl", even after moving away, Peggy's life always led back to her Ludlow roots. In addition to raising a family, she was actively involved in the Ludlow PTA while her kids attended Ludlow Schools. Peggy held many PTA offices over the years and was extremely proud of her PTA work. Additionally, she was a volunteer at the First Baptist Church of Ludlow for many years, as well as a volunteer at the Ludlow Senior Center for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Si" Johnson in 2012; parents, Charles and Viola Phillips Early; and grandson, Christopher Lokesak in 2019.
