Reggie Mack Jones 71, stepped into the Loving and Resting arms of His Savior, Jesus Christ on March 1, 2022 after courageously battling multiple health issues for many years. He fought with everything he had until his last breath on earth, but gave God glory and praise through every single challenge he faced. Visitation will be Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at Green Acres Baptist Church Chapel under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral home with Ken Brumley officiating. Graveside will immediately follow at Whitehouse Cemetery. Reggie was born August 31, 1950 in Waco, Tx. To James Melvin and Louise Marie Burkett Jones. He attended RL Paschal High School and graduated from Richfield High School in 1968. He also attended Tarrant County Community College He married the mother of his children, Latricia Hammonds in 1970 and in 1976 they followed his brother to Tyler where he began a career in construction. He was the General Construction Manager for Tyler Building Systems, LP for 39 years before his retirement in 2015. He had an expertise and perfection in his field that will never be surpassed and would often take on much of the physical labor himself. Reggie met and married Dana Lynn Bolton on October 22, 2011. They had a love for each other that many never experience in a lifetime. He had a tremendous heart of service, but she in turn served him with patience and compassion like none other. He was a faithful member of Green Acres Baptist Church for over 35 years, a member of the Pathfinders Sunday School Class as well as the Christian Motorcycle Association/Cross Spoke Riders Chapter #930 most recently serving as Prayer Leader. He faithfully knew his purpose was to point others to the love of Christ. He loved riding his "baby"- a Fat Boy Harley Davidson until his health no longer allowed him the physical strength. He was an outstanding cook known for his giant homemade pizzas. He was also exceptional at baking. His scratch Banana Pudding, Pecan Pie, Peach Cobbler and chocolate cake (just to name a few) cannot be compared. He was a prayer warrior. A devoted, humble, loving, giving Husband, Daddy, Brother, Papa and Friend. Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, youngest daughter Natalie Jones, brother Arlon "Sonny" Jones, brother-in-law, Wayne Hagen and former wife Sara Rudd-Jones. Also preceding him were his beloved great grandchildren Londyn Smith, Caleb Hoover and Micah Brubaker. He is survived by his wife, Dana Jones, Whitehouse, Tx.
