Ricky Lynn Taylor, son of Sharon and Donald Taylor was born on May 19, 1966 in Atlantic Iowa. He attended Anita Schools and graduated from Anita High School in 1984.
Ricky had a life-long love for cars. He had a 1968 Pontiac Firebird and a GMC pickup that he and a few of his friends enjoyed working on.
Ricky liked watching sports on TV. He also loved watching "American Pickers" show on T.V. and had received several mementos from the stars of the show, along with an autographed photo. He was an avid fan and continued to watch the show for many years.
Ricky was a kind person with a big heart and loved his brothers. Your sweet smile and quirky personality will be greatly missed! Heaven truly gained another Angel! Not goodbye, but we will see you again one day; save us a seat.
Ricky went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 3, 2022, attaining the age of fifty-five years, nine months, and twelve days. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Gladys Taylor and his parents Sharon and Donald Taylor.
Ricky is survived by his brothers Randy Taylor of Harlan, Iowa; and Rodney (Terri) Taylor of Springfield, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Ryan Taylor of Chicago, Illinois; Brandy (Chris) Ellis of Neosho, Missouri; Rodney Taylor II of Joplin, Missouri; Sean Taylor of Joplin, Missouri; great nieces and nephews: Landon Ellis, Amery and Abigal Taylor; other family members; and friends.
