Phyllis Arlene Rice, daughter of Paul and Bernice Bellows Rice, was born November 4, 1933, at the home near Delphos and passed away at her grandfather Rice's home in Delphos July 10, at the age of 12 years, 8 months, and 6 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing her mother and father; brother Rex; three grandparents; two uncles; two aunts; and eleven cousins; also a host of other relatives and friends.

Just as the last ray of daylight faded away in the west her little spirit too took its flight to be forever with her savior who said "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such in the kingdom of heaven."

Music was furnished by a double quartet composed of Marilyn Fleshman, JoAnn Klein, Donna Burough, Barbara Hogg, Betty and Ruth Feldmann, Hazel Cochran, and Shirley Summers, who sand "Going Down the Valley," "Beautiful Isle," and "I'll Be a Sunbeam," accompanied by Irene Peters.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon a thte Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. H.G. Feldmann officiating. The Hartley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard King, Millard Keener, Max Rolph, Herman Bates, Harley Smith, and George Harper.

Honorary pallbearers were LaVona Forshee, Neva Forshee, Phyllis Forshee, Donna Davis, Mary Helen Bates and Dorothy Rice.
