Judith Kay Bryant Hammond, age 78, of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born on October 20, 1943, to the late Kirby and Mildred Smith Bryant. Judy retired as a teacher's aide, after 17 years of service, for Pendleton County schools and was also an accountant for 25 years for the Disabled American Veterans. She was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hardin Browning Post 109, in Falmouth, where she served for many years.
Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her dear husband of 28 years, Ray Hammond, in 2011. She is survived by: two children, Robin Anderson and Taffy Taylor, both of Falmouth; two granddaughters Hailey Taylor and Samantha Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Cali Raine and Summer Kay; a sister, Peggy Mains, of Falmouth; and a life-long family friend, Noel Jiminez.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., preceding the service. Judy's final resting place will be the Riverside Cemetery, in Falmouth. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hardin Browning Post #109, 111 Montjoy Street, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040.
