Funeral service for Betty L. Lewis will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephanie Jenkins, Rector, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery.

Betty L. Lewis died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of 93.
She was born August 19, 1928 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Thomas F. and Emaline (Bertrand) Hollinshead.
She graduated high school in Braintree, Massachusetts and married Ellsworth Lewis on July 24, 1949 in Watertown, New York.

Mrs. Lewis was primarily a homemaker but had worked for Raytheon for a short time. She and her husband fostered 82 children and for many years attended a Boy Scout or Girl Scout event six nights a week. She had also been active in the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; four children, Thomas Lewis, Cheryl Smith and husband Don, Vincent Lewis and Dustin Lewis; four grandchildren, David, Jason, Karina and Jennifer; numerous great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas and Richard; and a sister, Elise.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sheila Mobley, and a brother, Robert.
