William "Bill" Lawrence Long, 68, of Pekin, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022.
He was born January 17, 1954 in Dayton, OH to Robert and Mary Belle (Short) Long. He was employed as a Welder for several years. He enjoyed music- including playing the drums, and running sound for local bands, as well as taking his boat out on the lake. Bill was always helping those in need, and was an animal lover.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Long, Jr.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial will be held at a later date. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
