Mrs. Donna Ruth (Womack) Coker, 61, of Jasper, passed away peacefully with her husband and children beside her on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Beaumont, Texas.

Donna was born on Wednesday, November 2, 1960, in Houston, Texas to Mr. Carmon Womack and Mrs. Barbara Nadine (Manshack) Womack. She was one of three children the couple had and raised here in the Southeast Texas area.

Donna was an amazing woman who accomplished many things over the course of her beautiful life; from motherhood to helping her local community her impact on those who came into her path was profound. Donna was a strong willed and loving woman who often loved others almost to a fault, willing to sacrifice personally to help others. Donna set an example of true love and devotion for all around her. A fantastic mother to her five children, Donna was always supportive of her family and willing to do whatever she could to help her children thrive. MawMaw to her beloved grandbabies, Donna was an even better grandmother than mother and loved her grandchildren more than anything else in the world. It is no surprise that with such a beautiful heart and soul, Donna also enjoyed bringing beauty to the world around her by working in her garden and planting flowers that brought the butterflies she enjoyed so much right into her own yard. Nature always brought joy to Donna; perhaps that is why she loved water, mountains and any chance she had to go fishing. Donna's bold and capable personality did not just shape her family, but also the community she so willingly served for most of her life. Donna's effervescent and vivacious presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her and all those she loved so well.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy of love is her beloved husband of almost 15 years, Jim Coker, her children: LaDonna Gutierrez and husband Kevin, David Chaney, Johnathan Jones and wife Christina, Chloe Coker and Zoey Coker, her sister, Carlene Womack and husband Ralph Keller, her 18 grandchildren, her 2 great-grandchildren and numerous friends, co-workers, extended family members, and a grateful community who appreciated her years of giving and service.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Sue Crippen.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas and to celebrate her life the family will have private family memorial service channeling her love of good food and time spent with loved ones ~
