She was born on December 4, 1947, in Toledo, IL; Vicki was the daughter of Oscar Morgan and Ruby Ingram.
She fell in love and married Richard Bowen Sr. on December 5, 1964 in Bement, IL.
Vicki was known for her love of Goodwill and thrift shopping, collecting dolls and patriotic items, making and decorating cakes and her infamous cooking.
Vicki was the matriarch, the Queen of the family. She was strong like a Viking, supportive and loving. Whether biological or not, family was her life. Caring for children was her passion through babysitting, being a mom and grandma or giving a kid in need a temporary home.
She was a loving mother to five children, three daughters and their husbands and two sons and their wives. Vicki also was grandma to 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her loyal adoring husband Richard Bowen Sr. and grandson, Patrick Purden.
Per Vicki's wishes no service is planned.

As well as Karen Miller who was a comfort to Vicki as her phone pal and for being there for the family the day of. Vicki and the family also extend thankfulness to two daughters-in-law who were there to provide love, care and comfort for Vicki at home over the past few months.
