Henry Gregory, 75, of Waynesville, passed away on February 11, 2022, at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
Born, September 21, 1946, in Jackson County, Henry was the son of the late Henry and Lorena Messer Gregory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte Bailey and Mary Helen Langston. Henry retired from Wellco after many years of service. He was an independent, strong, and kindhearted man that would give anyone anything they needed. He loved working in the yard, being outside, and camping. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish Henry's memory are his wife of 31 years, Margaret Leming Gregory; children, Timothy Dewayne Gregory (Susan Corbin) and Johnny Wayne Gregory (Rita); sisters, Geraldine Dockens, Mary Sue Burns (Mitchell), and Frankie Jean Burrells; grandchildren, Edward, Amanda, Cory, Tony, Kristen, Callie, Felicia, Timothy, Michelle, Bobby, and Amy; 12 great grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Smoky Mountain Chapel, with Reverend Mike Leslie officiating.
