Although a successful business owner, his family was his greatest joy and accomplishment in life. He was the patriarch of his family and took great pride in showing unconditional love to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He worked to ensure his special needs daughter had a beautiful and fulfilling life. We know this was a beautiful reunion when he arrived at the gates of heaven. He was the definition a "car guy" and appreciated the rare qualities of vintage cars, the glorious sounds of a fine-tuned motor, the car show atmosphere with friends and the beauty of restoring a vehicle to its once glory.
Later in life, Larry found serenity in the game of golf, where he could be outdoors; spend time with friends and his grandson, Josh. He spent many hours studying the game and sharpening his skills. One of his fondest golfing memories was making a hole in one on the 18th hole at Windy Knoll golf course. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Louise Howard, his brother Herman Howard, daughter Rae Lynn Howard, granddaughter Brittany Koronich and many other beloved family.
Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
