Francisca Garcia was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 31, 1948 to Gilberto E. and Santos Martinez. Francisca passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Santos Martinez; brothers, Gilbert Martinez and Carlos Martinez; sister, Rosa Maria Martinez. Surviving is her loving husband of 57 years, Frank Sr.; children, Frank Garcia Jr., Michael Garcia, Santiago (Monique) Garcia, and Dolores Garcia; grandchildren, Anais Garcia, Alejandro Garcia, Alma Garcia, Ailaina Garcia Santiago Garcia Jr., Lily Shaw and Sergio Garcia; great grandchildren, Marcus Garcia and Xavier Villanueva Jr.; sisters and brothers, Gloria Martinez, Margarita Hernandez, Dolores (Sam) Reed, Guadalupe (Late Timothy) Schmidtchen, Mary Ellen (Pedro) Martinez, Pauline Martinez, Mary Jane (Late Arturo) Lopez, Joe Martinez and Anita (Pablo R.) Hernandez. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Francisca enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, and reading. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, March 8, 2022, 12:00 PM at Mount Hope Church, 202 S Creyts Rd, Lansing, MI 48917. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family is being served by the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel.
