We mourn the passing of Harry G. Bachman on November 3, 2017, at his home in Elkins Park, PA. He was 64 years old. Harry was born on November 19, 1952, in Phila., where he spent his life and career. His passions were his family and architecture. He graduated from Cheltenham High School, where he was often seen in school plays and interned at the Philadelphia Housing Authority. He obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture from Cornell University and a degree in Urban Design from the University of Paris. He subsequently earned an MBA from Drexel University. He had a long and distinguished career as both an architect and building project manager, and at the time of his death served as a Senior Project Architect at the architectural firm City Invincible in Camden, N.J. He served as treasurer for many of his high school class reunions. He was the beloved husband of Dr. Caroline M. Bachman, married for 42 years, father of Anna and Chloe, father-in-law to Simon Picard, and grandfather to Sebastien, Olivier, and baby Elliot. He is also survived by his mother Joan Bachman. He was pre-deceased by his father, Jim Bachman. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and colleagues. Services will be held at Rodeph Shalom Synagogue in Center City Philadelphia, 615 North Broad Street, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017.
