Robert Joe Graham, Sr.
September 17, 1963 ~ February 26, 2022 (age 58)

Robert Joe Graham Sr., at the young age of 58, unexpectedly earned his heavenly wings on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Rowlett, Texas. Robert, more lovingly known to many as Joe, was born on September 17, 1963 to Deleanor Graham George in Vivian, Louisiana. He grew up in Jefferson, Texas, where he attended and would later graduate from Jefferson High School in 1981. His love and fascination with electronics led Joe to earn his Associates in Electronic Tech in 1983. Shortly after, he proudly served in the United States Army as an Electronic Combat Signaler in 1984. Sergeant Robert Joe continued to serve until he was honorably discharged in 1992.

Before joining the service, Joe met the woman who would later become his wife, Tracy Jefferson. The amorous couple wed on December 23, 1984. This loving union begot three wonderful children , Robert Jr. (1985), Neshell (1990), and the adoption of Gary (2005) on November 15, 2008.

Joe dedicated his life to the Lord at a young age and chose to live his life based on God's principles to love and respect others, regardless of their background. He truly cherished his time with his brothers and sisters, grilling, watching sports, and celebrating life. Joe was a passionate sports fan, but his Dallas Cowboys reigned supreme. Any given Thursday, Sunday, or Monday in the Fall, he could be found enjoying football or wrestling. He also loved to help those around the neighborhood by cutting their grass or taking care of their yards. Never meeting a stranger, he always greeted everyone with a smile and a friendly wave.

His memory will live on and be cherished forever by his children, Robert Jr. (Chloe), Neshell, and Gary Graham; his mom, Deleanor Graham George, his sisters, Deborah Cooper (Gary), Lisa Jones (Willie), LaFrancis George and Kim George ; his brothers, LaFrance (Shonna) and Markos George (Maretta); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his adoring wife, Tracy Jefferson Graham.
