AGE 89 YEARS
Betty A. Jenkins ~~~ For those that know Betty, you can imagine she went on her own terms. Warm thoughts of the next beach and a cool refreshment in hand, Betty Jenkins, passed peacefully in the early hours of March 1, 2022. Raised in Newton, MA, Betty graduated from Newton High School and the Chamberlain School for Women. She married Donald Jenkins and moved to Framingham in 1960 to raise her family on Prior Drive. She spent many happy years working at Filenes and Macy's before her retirement. She moved to Haverhill Crossings in Haverhill, in 2020, to be closer to family, and made countless friends while she was there.
Happy to rejoin her parents Arthur and Alice Fleming and her sister Claire. Betty is survived by her 3 children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who loved their Grammy.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury at 11:00 AM.
