Roy was born on October 11, 1945, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky to Bradley and Geneva (Ponder) Miller. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Roy retired as a plumber for Richardson Plumbing and had previously worked for many years at Partridge Meats. He enjoyed turkey shoots, fishing and taking trips to Florida.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Carol Penny, Dorothy Schultz, Lola Robinson, Marie Kenwright and Linda McKnight.
Survivors include his wife wife, Ruth (McCroskey) Miller; daughters, Tina (Wesley) Bledsoe and Karen Schwartz; sons, David Bubbly and Edward (Amy) Bubbly; sisters, Wanda Warner, Barbara Reed, Thelma Wade and Hazel Furnish; brothers, Steve Miller, Gary Miller and Bob Miller; 8 grandchildren, Jacob Bubbly, Brittney Bledsoe, James Bubbly, Katie Bledsoe, Adam Bubbly, Brandon Bledsoe, Tyler Schwartz and Emily Schwartz; great granddaughter, Charlotte Bubbly; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
