He was a member of First Baptist Church in Joiner. When he was not farming he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved visiting with his friends and family whom he loved dearly and listening to country music.
Survivors include one son, William R. ''Trey'' Bennett III (Jessica); one daughter, Anita Lynn Bennett (Melissa); one grandson, William Roy ''Quade'' Bennett IV; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Sybil ''Libby''Bennett; one brother, Sam Bennett; three sisters, Ilene Warhurst, Marilyn Adlholt and Jackie McClelland; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnny Bennett and Danny Ray Bennett; sisters Gloria Jean Bennett and Lisa Bennett.
Visitation followed by a funeral service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 beginng at 2:00 pm at Roller Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine St.,West Memphis, Arkansas.
